Milk Thistle Tincture
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup dried milk thistle seeds
  • 2 cups high-proof alcohol (e.g., vodka or grain alcohol)

INSTRUCTIONS
Place the dried milk thistle seeds in a glass jar and pour the alcohol  over them. Seal the jar tightly and shake gently. Allow it to steep in a  cool, dark place for 6-8 weeks, shaking the jar occasionally. After the  steeping period, strain the tincture, squeezing the seeds to extract  all the liquid. Transfer the tincture to a dark glass dropper bottle,  label it, and store in a cool place.
