Simple Syrup
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
INSTRUCTIONS
Bring the water to a boil. Remove the pan from the heat and dissolve the sugar in the water. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved. Cool completely before using or storing. Store in bottles or mason jars.
NOTES
When fully dissolved the liquid will be clear and not cloudy. Strain while hot if you have any solids when finished. Remove any film that may develop on the top. This typically will only happen with certain sugars.
